Lincoln Book Festival 2020 – Online Author Talk – Alison Weir
Katheryn Howard, The Tainted Queen (Headline Review, 2020)
In this video recorded exclusively for Lincoln Book Festival, Alison Weir discusses her latest book, Katheryn Howard, The Tainted Queen (Headline Review, 2020).
It is Alison Weir’s tenth published novel and the fifth in the Six Tudor Queens series about the wives of Henry VIII, which was launched in 2016 to great critical acclaim, and draws on extensive research to recount one of the most tragic tales in English history – that of a lively, sweet but neglected girl, used by powerful men for their own gain.
Lincoln Book Festival favourite Alison Weir is the biggest-selling female historian (and the fifth best-selling historian) in the United Kingdom. She has published 23 titles and sold more than 3 million books – over a million in the UK and 2.2 million in the USA.
We hope you enjoy this video by one of our scheduled guest authors for 2020 – look out for more online author talks coming soon on our website, social media and YouTube channel.
